DoodleDoughnuts.co is my brand in which I use to express my love for cuteness and kawaii artwork, in all forms of creative expression! Including fashion, crafting and more!
DoodleDoughnuts Clothing and Accessories is my shop where I mainly sell my hand-painted shoes that all are painted with designs and patterns that are heavily inspired by cute, colourful, and fun culture! I’d love to expand to other fashion and accessories as well!
And finally DoodleDoughnuts Crafts is my YouTube channel where I create video tutorials showing you how to make cute crafts and projects.
The official Instagram and Facebook where I update you on everything are under the username DoodleDoughnuts.co
Little other things that I do are my blog where I write about running a business and my other YouTube channel (where I post anything that isn’t a crafting video hehe) under the username The DoodleDoughnuts Café.
Where are your other products? All I see are shoes!!!
Right now on my website I’m just selling hand-painted shoes but at my events I love pulling out all the bells and whistles hehe. I think events are a great way to see what sells and doesn’t, like a test run! I’ve sold sweaters, t-shirts, stickers and more at events. I’m in the process of putting up a more diverse variety of products based on my research. One day I’d love to have a full collection of items! Regardless with every purchase you receive 3 random and free stickers! All designed by me, how lovely!!
Are your products ready to ship?
As of now (end of 2017 to early 2018) I have a couple of pairs of sneakers and slip on’s left. They range in sizes and designs. From tacos to watercolor zentangle! Sizes 6-11 are left. All the shoes that are listed are all set to go, meaning all that I have to do is ship them to you!
However after all of these ready to ship shoes are gone I’ll be putting a couple of new designs up in my shop maybe every season and then start painting after you’ve placed your order.
What brand/ kind of shoes do you use?
I use different brands including unbranded, toms, converse and keds. Unbranded shoes only come in sizes 6-11. When placing an order and choosing the unbranded option be mindful of the fact that yes they are cheaper within the total cost but they do not come in half sizes. All the ready to ship shoes are unbranded.
Are the shoes weather proof? Like if rain got on them... are they done for?
As someone from Canada I know how unpredictable the weather can be so using a sealant I spray the overall design and shoe. The sealant creates an unnoticeable layer of protection from rain, and sun (to prevent from fading and discolouration) However I’d still strongly suggest to be careful and not wear these shoes in extreme weather conditions or put these anywhere close to your mouth.
How can I become a sponsor or brand ambassador?
Ooh thank you for your interest!! Since DoodleDoughnuts.co revolves around kawaii, colourful and creative culture, I hope its sponsors are like-minded and produce similar content in order to be able to advertise to our similar audiences. To be eligible to become a sponsor it would be best if you have a present online influence of 2.5k or more on YouTube, Instagram, or Facebook.
